Kutaisi – Borjomi: 128.6 km

Borjomi is the most famous sanatorium resort in Georgia. Surrounded by green mountains, it is famous for its mineral springs. You will walk around the city and visit a park with a mountain river. In the park, you can try mineral water for free, see a waterfall, and ride a cable car to look at the city and mountains from above.

Borjomi – Akhaltsikhe (Rabat Fortress): 50 km

After the walk, you will go to the town of Akhaltsikhe to visit the Rabat fortress (XIII century). The fortress was repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt. It is now a large complex that includes both modern and historical elements. There is a mosque, an Orthodox church, and a museum with ancient artifacts. From the observation towers you will see an impressive view of the surroundings of Akhaltsikhe.

Akhaltsikhe – Vardzia Cave Monastery: 62.6 km

Amazing in its beauty and scale, the monastic cave city began to be built in the 12th century. All the caves are carved into Mount Erusheti. About 600 rooms on 13 floors have been preserved here. The complex is 900 meters long and 50 meters deep. Wear comfortable shoes to explore the cave city.

Vardzia – Kutaisi: 236 km
