Town Gori was founded in the 6th century but the world Glory it got after death of Iosif Dzhugashvili who is known in the people as Stalin. There are two main sights in the town. The first one is a fortress Goristsikhe, which is situated on the hill and the second one is Stalin's House Museum. The House, where lived Stalin up to 4 years, the museum with personal belongings and Stalin's gifts, and also personal car which are in
the museum yard! After Gori we will go to the cave city Uplistsikhe, which is cut in the volcanic rock of the ridge Kvernaki. Town Uplistsikhe dated 1 century B.C but prospered in 19th-20th centuries. Uplistsikhe was the large pagan center there passed different types of a sacrifice and any pagan rites before adoption of Christianity. At the end of 19th century the town completely became covered by an earth layer
