Tbilisi – Gori: 88.7 km

Gori is widely known as Joseph Stalin’s birthplace. The Joseph Stalin Museum is the city's main draw. You will see many of his personal belongings, his own saloon car, and the house he lived in as a child.

Gori is also interesting as the oldest city in Georgia. You will be able to visit the medieval fortress of Goristsikhe, which began to be built in the 6th century. It overlooks the Liakhva and Kura rivers.

Gori – Uplistsikhe: 14.6 km

After Gori, the driver will bring you to the unique cave city of Uplistsikhe, carved into the volcanic rock. This was one of the first cities mentioned on Georgian territory in the first millennium BC.This place was a large pagan center where sacrifices and rituals were held before the adoption of Christianity.

There were more than 700 cave structures in Uplistsikhe. Now it is a museum-reserve: 150 caves available for tourists.

Uplistsikhe – Tbilisi: 99 km
