Traveling down one of Armenia's most gorgeous roads will give you a taste of the country's diversity. Visit the cave city of Tatev, ride a cable car through the river gorge, and see the historic monastery of Noravank.

Yerevan – Noravank 119 km

Your first trip will be the 12th-century monastery of Noravank. It was built in the Red Canyon gorge. One of Armenia's most remarkable panoramic views is an ancient monastery set against a mountain river, colored rocks, and valleys.

Noravank – Tatev 150 km

Then you'll drive along the scenic road to Tatev. You can park in Halidzor and take the longest cable car up from here. The "Wings of Tatev" path leads to the monastery. However, you can also get there by car. The path to the cave city passes over the gorge by the suspension bridge. The construction of the Tatev cave monastery began in the ninth century. It is known as the Place of Power because the amazing nature here is united with man's creation.
