The primary ski resort in Armenia is Tsaghkadzor – "Gorge of Flowers". Tsaghkadzor is situated on the slope of Mount Teghenis at an elevation of 1840 meters above sea level. Any time of year is a good time to visit the city because it boasts fascinating architecture, lovely scenery, and a modern cable car with stunning views. You can explore the mountain pathways here, see the well-known Kecharis monastery from the eleventh century, view a number of antiquated churches, and visit the museum of the Orbeli brothers.

Tsaghkadzor – Lake Sevan: 25 km

The Sevan shoreline, the largest freshwater lake in the world, is about 20 kilometers from Tsaghkadzor. Here you can walk and admire the scenery, and in summer you can even swim. After a stroll, you can ascend to the peninsula's summit to observe the monastery named Sevanavank, after which the lake is named. The UNESCO list includes this unusual structure built of volcanic tuff. Sevan may be seen magnificently from the viewpoint of Sevanavank.

Lake Sevan – Dilijan: 34 km

Your journey will continue to the mountain town of Dilijan, which is well-known for its spas and local crafts. Since the national park's woodlands around the city, the air is clean here. You will walk along the cozy cobbled streets, look at low-rise fabulous houses, and see the "Armenian Venice".

Dilijan – Haghartsin: 13 km

The end of your route will be the ancient monastery complex of Haghartsin. On the monastery's territory, several churches of the 11th–13th centuries, the royal tomb, and the refectory have been preserved. The monastery is located high in the mountains, which is a unique place in terms of energy and atmosphere.

Haghartsin – Yerevan: 107 km
